Not every healthy food is a superfood but superfoods are that type of foods that are super-healthy. There’s not a specific criteria or category of food but is typically reserved for natural foods that are especially nutrient-dense while generally being low in calories. Consuming foods that are packed with nutrients – as many so called superfoods are – is certainly a good idea. But the key to a healthy diet is to consume a variety of nutritious foods in the right quantities. 

Actually, superfoods are a good entry into healthy eating.
